Grundy County Corn Festival

Grundy County Chamber of Commerce

The Grundy County Chamber of Commerce was established in 1947 and is tasked to support its membership, promote economic growth and development, and to provide opportunities for member businesses to obtain higher degree of success through networking, referrals, marketing and other direct membership services.

Emergency Services and Disaster Agency

City of Morris Police Department

The City of Morris, Illinois has a police department overseen by Police Chief, Brent Dite. The police department has served the city for more than 50 years and has 21 full-time police officers.

City of Morris Fire Department

The City of Morris has a Fire Protection and Ambulance District staffed by 45 part-time firefighters and 18 full-time EMS providers.

Morris Hospital

Morris Hospital & Healthcare Centers is located at 150 West High Street. The Morris Hospital serves residents of Grundy County and parts of Will, LaSalle, Livingston, and Kendall counties. The hospital has 800 employees, 300 volunteers, and a medical staff of approximately 180 physicians representing most medical specialties.

Morris Secretary of State Facility

The Morris Secretary of State facility is located at 2413 Sycamore Street. The facility offers services such as driver’s license issuance, motorcycle road testing, organ donor registry, vehicle registration, and voter registration. Morris Area Public Library

The Morris Area Public Library District is located at 604 Liberty Street and serves approximately 17,000 people and has a collection of more than 50,000 books, movies, music CDs, magazines and newspapers, and audiobooks.
